Newly-signed Word Records artist, Meredith Andrews, was recently included in Billboard's "Hot Faces to Watch in '08."
Citing worship leaders Rita Springer and Christy Nockles as her influences, Andrews will be opening for Aaron Shust's spring 2008 tour.
"I wasn't really looking for a record deal. It just fell in my lap. I'm so humbled by it all," Andrews says. "It's obvious that it's the Lord's hand and not my own."
Andrews, a worship leader at Chicago's Harvest Bible Chapel, will release her first Word Records album, The Invitation, April 29. For more information about Meredith Andrews, visit myspace.com/meredithandrewsband.
